Hawaiian Poke: Fresh, Authentic Hawaiian Poke Bowls in Tuscaloosa, AL

I've finally found my go-to spot for authentic Hawaiian poke! The bowl I had was absolutely delicious and hit all the right notes. I went with the marinated tuna, and the flavor was spot-on. It genuinely tasted just like the incredible poke I remember having while I was in Hawaii. I can't wait to come back and try more of their fresh offerings! I love that they are available on Uber eats so I can get it delivered to my door.

The food here is so good! Glad Tuscaloosa finally has another good restaurant. If you like fresh food, high quality, and a good price, you’ll like this place. My wife and I have already been twice this past week and they’ve only been open a little over two weeks. It’ll likely become a regular lunch/dinner spot for us. The assorted bowl had a mix of fresh sashimi-grade tuna, salmon, and shrimp. So delicious! Also, tonight we ordered the shaver ice cream (vanilla with mango and Oreo). Wow!!! It was delicious. The shaver ice cream is fresh and hand-made using a shaving machine upon order. It made our experience that much better. I didn’t take pics of our dinner, but here’s the dessert. Try it; you will not be disappointed. The line was to the door this evening, but it still didn’t take long to get our food. The store is nice, new and clean. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

Hi Friends! I have had this place 3 times now, and each time it has been amazing and consistent. The ingredients that go into the bowls are so fresh, and the meat is also fresh and high-quality. The lady and man who I have seen working behind the counter are extremely kind, pleasant, and were very patient with me as I figured out my order the first time I visited. I will absolutely keep coming back, and I will be recommending this place to people I know. Also, while I haven't dined in, the restaurant is always immaculately clean when I've gone in and made my to-go order. If you haven't been before, I would highly recommend trying them out! It's a build-your-own-bowl place with lots of sushi ingredients. They also have bowl options on the menu that you can order “as is” or order and slightly customize to fit your preferences. I have built my bowl each time and have been extremely happy. Definitely recommend adding to your bowl the spicy salmon and spicy tuna as well as the wasabi aioli, base sauce, and spicy mayo. First time stopping in, and I was really impressed! The place was super clean — bright, fresh, and very welcoming. The staff was incredibly nice and patient walking me through the options. It kind of reminded me of an "Hawaiian Subway,” but in the best way possible — you can pick a pre-made bowl or build your own with tons of fresh ingredients. Everything tasted really fresh, the portions were solid, and it’s a great value for what you get. Think of it like a non-rolled sushi experience in a bowl — simple, flavorful, and satisfying. Only thing to note: the drinks are bottled (no fountain drinks), but that didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, two thumbs up from me! I’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for something fresh and different in Tuscaloosa.

The ingredients here are so fresh and healthy! It’s nice to see Tuscaloosa get a different variety of eateries. My husband and I tried the Assorted Bowl and they allowed us to add mangoes and substitute other ingredients. We are definitely coming back!

I enjoy the fresh sashimi in the Poke bowl! I love the toppings and everything is very fresh. The shop is very clean also. Will definitely come back.

I have been here twice now since they opened and it’s been consistently great! All the ingredients are very fresh, the store is clean and the staff is super friendly. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
